Twelve hours after she was detained, penalised and let off for playing loud melodies in her luxury suite, form and Bollywood actress Anjum Nayar, who was last seen in the 2011 movie Cover article, was re-arrested at 4.30 pm yesterday.
dispatching out a powerful note that abuse and misbehaviour will not be tolerated against upholders of the regulation, the Oshiwara police booked her for administering a tirade of foul-mouthed misuse at police officers, which was recorded on film by a neighbour, and then passed on to the cops.
After watching the footage, the policeman consulted with their superiors and they reached at a conclusion to take stringent activity in the issue.
Nayar has been registered under sections 353 (assault or lawless person force to discourage public servant from release of his duty), 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke break of the peace), 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation) and 294 of the IPC. She will be produced before the court today.
At 1.30 am on Monday, the police control room relayed data to the localizedized police station that friends were deploring of loud melodies coming from the 20th floor flat at Samartha Angan construction in Andheri (West).
Two beat marshals reached at the flat, but to their bewilderment, an intoxicated Nayar started utilising profanities frequently, even administering expletives at the city's policeman commissioner.
The stricken cops then called for woman constables to deal with the position. Fifteen minutes subsequent, two woman constables reached at the location and Nayar was hauled off to the police position where she was registered, fined and issued at 5 am.
The whole fracas was, however, captured by a neighbour who later displayed the recording to the police who in turn informed their higher-ups of the footage.
After a few hours of discussion, Nayar was called back to the policemanmanman station and re-apprehended. "We have apprehended the model for mishandling and misbehaving with our agents and subsequently mishandling the commissioner. She was intoxicated throughout the time of incident. We had gone to her dwelling after obtaining a complaint from the command room," said Nasir Pathan, older policeman inspector, Oshiwara policemanmanmanman position.
A constable from Oshiwara policemanmanmanman station, on condition of anonymity, said, "She was relentlessly mishandling us while we were taking her to the policemanman position. furthermore, after reaching the station, she started intimidating us by saying she will complain against us to the peak agents.
The other side
meantime, Nayar is alleging that she was slapped by the women constables, and sick treated by the policeman. Nayar said that she was with a couple of associates in her luxury suite enjoying some wine and soft music when the cops knocked on her door. She assertions that the melodies was so supple that it could not be perceived even in the next room. Despite this, the agents misbehaved with her and also slapped her, which compelled her to retaliate.
She said that the female constables started drubbing her from her flat till the police position and after coming to there, the on obligation police officer too misbehaved with her. She has, however, accepted that she had consumed alcohol, but assertions she was not drunk.
