Save Uttarakhand Please Help India

Over 550 people were reportedly dead in the massive natural disaster that hit the Himalayan state of Uttarakhand earlier this week. Over 50,000 people were evacuated by air and land routes by the army and other forces from the affected areas, reports added. The temple town of Kedarnath has been the worst hit, Indo Tibetan Border Police (I T B P) sources said. 

The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, has issued an appeal to the nation for generous donations to support the distressed fellow countrymen affected by cloud burst and floods in Uttarakhand. 

Dr. Singh in his appeal urged the public to donate generously to the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund (PMNRF) and actively participate in the national efforts to support the affected people.
